UNVEX 2022 se celebrará el 14 al 16 de septiembre en Sevilla

  • It will be the first event to be held in Spain dedicated to drones in three areas: aerial, terrestrial and maritime.
  • The event will be held at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Sevilla (Fibes).

Madrid, 8 March 2022UNVEX (Unmanned Vehicles Exhibition), the largest gathering of remotely operated systems or drones held in Spain, will take place from 14 to 16 September at the Fibes venue in the city of Seville.

The evolution of the systems commonly known as drones, which began in the aerial domain with the so-called UAVs, has extended to the terrestrial (UGV) and maritime (USV/UUV) domains, which is why the seventh edition of UNVEX will be held under the title “Dron3, an integral vision of remotely manned systems”.

UNVEX 2022 is born from a technological and industrial perspective. This is a sector in which technology is vital and companies need to evolve through innovation and knowledge of user requirements. The aim of UNVEX is for all of them to exchange knowledge, learn about new developments, lessons learned and business perspectives.

Many companies in the sector have already shown their interest in this new drone event in Spain and will be present at the event, which will feature an extensive programme of conferences structured thematically, an exhibition area for companies, innovation centres and institutions to showcase their solutions and demonstration sessions for these vehicles.

Seventh edition

UNVEX is an event that has grown over the years, accompanying the development of this new technological and industrial sector, which has promising prospects.

Following the success of the last edition of UNVEX, held in Santiago de Compostela in 2021, this seventh edition will feature an ambitious programme of conferences with an estimated 80 presentations and an estimated attendance of 200 professionals. The exhibition will be attended by the largest national and international companies in the sector.

Seville, a privileged location

There are many reasons why Seville is a privileged location, for example, its University, which was a pioneer in this technology and continues to be a benchmark, together with FADA-CATEC as a benchmark Technology Centre in Europe. At the aeronautical level, it is one of the European capitals for its industrial capacity and Andalusia is one of the European regions of special importance in Defence and Security.

In addition, it offers magnificent facilities for the event and demonstrations, as well as first class communications and hotel services.

About UNVEX

UNVEX is a comprehensive event, born in 2010, which has demonstrated its ability to generate business in the seven editions held in Europe plus the four held in Latin America. Designed and developed by IDS, which also has one of the most widely distributed media in the sector www.infodron.es. The content of the conference series is selected by a Technical Committee made up of qualified representatives. The exhibition is the largest ever held in Spain and its demonstrations, pioneering at the time, include all types of remotely manned systems.
